WHAT IS BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY?
The term "Boudoir" typically references a woman’s bedroom or private sitting room, but in the photography world it represents an intimate portrait experience that showcases the most vulnerable moments for a woman. When a woman strips away her layers of clothing and daily responsibilities, she gets to see a new perspective of herself.
I HAVE NEVER MODELED BEFORE.
I understand that you are not a professional model (though you will feel like it on the day of your shoot), but I AM a professional photographer! I have women of all ages, shapes and sizes in front of my camera. Not one of them has come to me knowing how to model or pose, and everyone leaves with amazing pictures and a new found confidence. Your only job is to have fun and relax. I will physically demonstrate and patiently guide you, head to toe, through each pose to highlight your favorite features.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR…
I got you! Once your session is booked, you will complete the style questionnaire and then we will have a virtual wardrobe consultation to review your ideas. I will help you figure out which outfit types will fit properly and make you feel like a million bucks. You will leave our virtual wardrobe consultation knowing exactly what outfits to put together. We'll also review exactly how to prepare for your session - like what to bring the day of, skin care, and stretches.
WILL MY PHOTOS BE ON THE INTERNET?
Not unless you say it’s okay! Every client I feature on my website has given me written permission to post her images. Privacy is very important to me. At your photo review, if you decide you don’t want them shared, that is completely okay. If you want to give permission after you've seen them, I’d LOVE to share some of your photos so that other women can get an idea of what the experience looks and feels like.
I NEED TO LOSE A FEW POUNDS…
You don't need to do anything to your body to be beautiful. I promise. You are a boss, lover, chef, wife, mother, and a million other roles, who gives and gives to everyone else. Every freckle, wrinkle, stretch mark, scar, and dimple is part of what makes up the amazing human that you are today. Women can be so tough on themselves and make unnecessary comparisons to others. I will help you see the beauty that everyone else around you sees when they look at you. We rarely take the time for self-love and life changes in a moment. Don't put your life on hold because of what you think your body should look like. Life is happening right now, you are beautiful right now.

This genre of photography requires skill in lighting, posing, and client care. Regardless of size, shape, or age, I will help you tell YOUR story. Each year, I devote time and resources to studying more and more about how to make people look (and FEEL!) their best and achieve the emotional, raw sexiness that is prevalent in my art. During your session, I will apply my expertise to show you the bombshell that you are!
